BISHOP ORLANDO HARRIS

Bishop Orlando Harris is a native of Memphis, TN. and raised in Brockton, MA. Bishop Harris accepted his Call and God chose him to teach-preach the Gospel at the age of 23 while living in Memphis, TN. Bishop Harris was licensed to preach on May 7, 1989 and became an ordained minister in July of 1992, under the leadership of Rev. Gerald Rayborn, Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. His education consists of college prep/advance religious studies at Cardinal Spellman Catholic High School, seminary studies at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and Carolina School of Theology. As of May of 2005, he received his Master of Divinity Degree. He is currently working on his Doctoral degree at Carolina School of Theology in North Carolina.

Bishop Harris returned to Boston where the Lord opened doors for him to minister and travel. Still, the Lord had an even greater work for him to do. On May 29, 1994, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Harris founded New Life Christian Church Ministries with eight members. Since that time, the membership has grown by several hundred members and both he and the church serves the Brockton area and surrounding communities. On April 29, 1999, under his leadership the congregation of New Life purchased Temple Israel which was formerly a Jewish Synagogue; and under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, New Life (T.L.C.) Taunton Loving Church was birthed on April 12, 2009.

On May 28, 1995, Bishop Harris married his beloved wife, Dr. Treniece Lewis Harris and he is the proud father of three children, his beautiful daughter Milan, his prayed for mini-me son, Orlando Jr., and his miracle girl, Princess Kayla. He is the doting grandfather to granddaughter Leiani.

Bishop Harris loves to praise the Lord and has a heart for God’s people. His dedication and excitement about teaching and preaching the Word of God has led many people to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He encourages the New Life family to strive for spiritual growth and maturity so that they will receive all the blessings God has for them. Most of all, He encourages EACH-ONE to REACH-ONE and TEACH-ONE about a New Life in Jesus Christ.

God has blessed Bishop Harris to teach and preach at many Revivals, Crusades, Conferences and Holy Convocations throughout the east coast.
